It's official.
After much wondering and watching, Bobcat Bonnie's has closed its last location.
Bobcat Bonnie's Has Officially Closed
In the last year, Matt Buskard, owner of Bobcat Bonnie's, had closed six different locations. The original Corktown location closed in March, the Wyandotte location in January, and Ferndale most recently at the beginning of June.
With all these closures, Lansing was the last remaining location—until now.

there had been growing suspicions that Bobcat Bonnie's in Lansing had closed. The Facebook page had seemingly disappeared, the phone line disconnected, and a sign posted to the door indicated that the Michigan Liquor Control Commission had suspended their license.
Now, suspicions are confirmed as Crain's Detroit Business reports Bobcat Bonnie's closure. The last official day of business was Sunday, June 8, with Crain's received a text message from Buskard confirming the closure.
Why Did Bobcat Bonnie's Close?
They also report that Buskard accumulated over $1M in liens to the state of Michigan due to "unpaid state sales tax and withholding".
Unpaid tax liens and suspended liquor licenses aren't the only issues to arise from this Michigan-based restaurant chain. WLNS heard from former employees of the Lansing location that alleged missing paychecks or that checks bounced when cashed.
Bobcat Bonnie's had taken over the location of the former, historic Clara's Lansing Station along Michigan Avenue. There is no word at this time about any future plans for the location.
