PICS: ‘WITL Night Out’ With Chase McDaniel and Greylan James
Country acts signed to major Nashville record labels don't play in Lansing frequently, but when they do, you can bet 100.7 WITL has a little something to do with it.
The radio station hosted another installment of its "WITL Night Out" series on June 18, 2025, at Lansing Brewing Company.
Rising Nashville Stars Take the Stage
Up-and-coming Nashville acts Chase McDaniel and Greylan James took turns for an hour playing acoustic versions of songs they've recorded or written. Highlights included "Project" and "Burned Down Heaven" from McDaniel, and "Next Thing You Know" and "Wait 'Til You Have Kids" from James.

Lansing's own Keegan Jacko and his band kept the crowd of roughly 300 entertained for a couple more hours after McDaniel and James finished.
Unforeseen Circumstances Force Last-Minute Venue Change
The event was originally slated to take place at Hidden Creek Farms in Charlotte, Michigan. However, that venue was struck by a tornado on May 15, causing organizers to pivot to an outdoor plan for "WITL Night Out" on the Hidden Creek Farms grounds.

Additional factors forced yet another change of plans just days before the event was to take place, with Lansing Brewing Company stepping up to serve as host.
Community Comes Together for a Good Cause
The "WITL Night Out" crowd donated more than $1500 toward rebuilding efforts at Hidden Creek Farms, including $1100 for an autographed guitar signed by most of the performers from the Faster Horses Music Festival in Brooklyn, Michigan, in 2024, including headliners Jelly Roll, Lainey Wilson and HARDY.
