Thai Nation Bistro, after being in business for two years near downtown Williamston, has shut it's doors. The closure took place on Wednesday.

According to the Lansing State Journal the restaurant, which was located in the plaza at 725 West Grand River Avenue, which includes six other businesses, claims that they lost their lease with the plaza which resulted in the closing.

The owners of the plaza, the Eyde Company, found out about the Thai Nation Bistro's closing from one of the other businesses in the plaza and not from the restaurant owners themselves. According to a representative from the plaza owners, the restaurant's lease doesn't end for another year.

Nobody is sure why the Thai Nation Bistro closed without notice.
