Watch Out – Here Are the Michigan Car/Deer Accident Stats

Here's a newsflash: Michigan's full of whitetail deer running in front of your car.

According to MLive.com and the Michigan Deer Crash Coalition, last year there were 47,000 "deer/vehicle" crashes in Michigan. We, in the Mid-Michigan area, live in one of the hotspots for these incidents.Good for hunting, but bad for driving.

Here's the story, with a helpful map to show you the areas where the numbers of crashes were the highest.
