Vaccinated Spartan Fans Will Enjoy Football at Spartan Stadium

With all of this talk lately about the delta variant surge rising here in Michigan, it's no wonder MSU students and fans are getting more and more concerned about MSU classes and football games at Spartan Stadium.

Most recently the announcement was made for all MSU students and staff on MSU's campus to have at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine by the end of this month.

According to the Lansing State Journal:

Fans at Spartan Stadium this MSU football season should be required to be vaccinated if they're able to get a vaccine. Same for patrons at Wharton Center and Jenison Field House and Breslin Center, indoor facilities where visitors have to wear masks through at least the early weeks of the fall semester.

It's not just here in Michigan, there are several other colleges and universities asking their students and staff members to be vaccinated as well.

Let's face it, this has been a very difficult thing to deal with over the last year and a half and even longer.

This summer has been pretty good for most of us, which has been nice, but now with the easy transmission of the delta variant, it's back to masking up and making sure we all get vaccinated.

The Lansing State Journal also adds:

The idea of requiring MSU fans and visitors to be vaccinated has been discussed, according to university spokesperson Emily Guerrant. However, as of now, MSU is not requiring visitors of any kind to be vaccinated. That goes for libraries, museums, arenas and stadiums, as well as those helping students move into the dorms.
