Don't you just love this time of year.  Spring upon us as we get ready for baseball season to kick off.  Nothing like going to the ballpark and sitting in the hot sun, grabbing a cold beer, and a hot dog with family and friends.

I am a diehard Chicago Cubs fan and have great memories of going to Wrigley Field.  I am sure you have fond memories going to Tiger games as well, especially in the old ball park.

Detroit Tigers owner Chris Ilitch was hanging out at spring training in Lakeland, Florida and said the players, and staff are excited about welcoming fans back to Comerica Park.  The first day of the regular season is always so much fun.

Under recently revised COVID-19 restrictions, the Tigers are only supposed to have 1,000 fans at their stadium.

A team spokesperson told 7 Action News, "1,000 is the capacity for an outdoor venue as recently announced by the state of Michigan. So we are working through the details and working off that number as a starting point – evolving situation as you can see around the country.

So, lets get ready for baseball, and the The Detroit Tigers opening game at Comerica Park on April 1st.

So, if you are planning to go to any games this year here is the complete Tiger Schedule for 2021. I am very excited that the tigers will be hosting my hometown Chicago Cubs May 14th to May 16th, and I plan on being there for those games.  Find me and I will buy you a beer.
