Lansing Lugnuts Home Opener And WITL Night Moved Up Tomorrow

While the snow wasn't too bad here, Midland had enough to cancel the Great Lakes Loons game with the Lansing Lugnuts tonight at Dow Diamond.

That game will now be made up as part of a double header this Sunday at our own Cooley Law School Stadium. The double header will start at 1:05 p.m. and consist of two seven inning games with a half hour break in between.

As for Opening Day and WITL Night tomorrow night when the Lugnuts take on the Loons here at the stadium, the important news is that first pitch has now been moved up from 7:05 p.m. to 5:35 p.m.

Don't forget that the fun will start tomorrow at 3 p.m. with the huge free Opening Day Block Party in front of the stadium! I'll be broadcasting live and you can come out and meet the team and get autographs. The first one thousand fans through the gates will get a commemorative scarf from Auto-Owners Insurance. LAFCU will also present fireworks following the game.

Plus, you won't want to miss Banana Don and Stephanie McCoy throwing out the first pitch and hosting more fun during the game.
