Lansing (and East Lansing) is now home to a growing number of breweries. Admittedly, we're a long way behind our friends in Grand Rapids when it comes to sheer numbers of breweries, but the future is bright for beer in Mid-Michigan. That's why we need a beer trolley.

Tomorrow, according to MLive.com, Grand Rapids gets it's first beer trolley. Austin Dingledine and his sister Jaleen came up with the idea after visiting Lisbon, Portugal and watching people get around the city using that city's trolley system. The Grand Rapids beer trolley will visit nine different breweries every hour during Friday and Saturday nights and Sunday afternoons. A day pass will cost $15.

Heck, we have more than nine breweries in Lansing already. And they're kinda spread out, so...

My prediction? In ten years, we'll all be getting around in self-driving beer trolleys. And you heard it here first.
