It was time for me to lose weight I thought as I stepped on the scale about 6 weeks ago. Yikes, I was stunned to see I gained 15 pounds since the start of the pandemic. I am willing to guess I am not the only one to have that problem, after all we were all home more, and in front of the TV way more often. I love to snack in front of the big screen with things like ice cream, popcorn, chocolate, and I love DOTS. I had to say goodbye to them all.
I started the Keto diet on Feb 4th and I am happy to say I am down 17 pounds. 15 more to go. I like the high protein way of eating, and I think one of the reasons I have been successful so far is because of Sugar free Jell-O, and good Keto snacks.

Now, I have learned you still have to eat in moderation. I also eat my meals with a lot of proteins like eggs, roasted chicken, steak, fish, and shrimp, I also eat a big serving of vegetables like Broccoli. cauliflower rice, edamame and asparagus every day.
Also, my doctor told me to drink a lot of water (64oz a day), and no sugar Gatorade or Powerade. I love the grape, that will keep you hydrated.
