All those windows. Just sitting there taunting you to clean them.

But what if we could put them to work? Apparently that idea also came to somebody at Michigan State University, while they were staring out the window, wishing they could go feed the ducks on the Red Cedar (at least, in MY mind, that's what happened). According to State's MSU Today website, “Highly transparent solar cells represent the wave of the future for new solar applications." So says Richard Lunt, the Johansen Crosby Endowed Associate Professor of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science at MSU.
