PICS: Randy Houser – Live in Lansing
Country star Randy Houser played a free acoustic show for 100.7 WITL listeners at Green Dot Stables in Lansing on March 5, 2024.
Up-and-coming country band 12/OC played a full band show after Houser's acoustic performance.

For a full 45 minutes, those in attendance were treated to just Houser and his guitar and his collection of hits spanning more than a decade and a half. He kicked off the evening with his very first Top 5 record from 2009, "Boots On", following it with acoustic additions of favorites including "Runnin' Outta Moonlight", "How Country Feels", "We Went", "Goodnight Kiss", and "Like a Cowboy", as well as newer songs such as "Cancel" and "Note to Self".
Shortly after Houser's set, Maine-based up-and-coming country band 12/OC took the stage to entertain attendees with a 90-minute set of crowd-pleasing country covers and a few originals. Fronted by brothers Reid Nichols (lead vocals) and Will Nichols (lead guitar), 12/OC even welcomed Eaton Rapids' own Cooper Johnson to share vocals on "Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy".
This was 12/OC's fourth appearance in Lansing in the 13 months - having played at each of WITL's "Jam at The Junction" events in 2023.
Many of those who stuck around to the very end were in for a surprise, as Houser was found bellied up to the bar for a Jack Daniels and Diet Coke - shaking hands, chatting with listeners, and taking pictures with those who happened to spot him there.
The show was co-sponsored by Shaheen Chevrolet and Shaheen Cadillac of Lansing, along with Beck's Trailer Superstore in St. Johns.
