Playground Closed In Eaton Rapids Due To Razor Blades
Now, I'm not trying to be melodramatic here. I'm being for real when I tell you that I'm not really sure how to write this.
Okay, over the years you've heard of things like this about people trying to intentionally hurt others with razor blades but since thankfully it never happened to me or anyone I've ever known, they seemed like they were something of urban legend or the like.
It's just one of those things that makes you cringe that someone could actually think about even doing something like this and that those people would actually carry something like this out.
But according to the Lansing State Journal, it looks like someone or more than just one person not only considered hurting people with razor blades, but they also tried to carry it out. It looks like those razor blades were found at the Howe Field playground in Eaton Rapids. Those who made the discovery called the authorities and 39 razor blades were found on playground equipment on Monday.
And it looked like the razor blades were placed on the equipment to cause intentional harm.
Just terrible. And that is an understatement. But the good news here is that law enforcement may have an idea about the perpetrators of this really bad situation.
