Homeowners in Eaton Rapids Can Get Money For Home Repairs
Well the economy has been getting much help as we all know since the pandemic started. The stimulus money has helped a lot of folks, and it was a big help to many of my friends and family. Seems things are getting much better since the start of the pandemic.
It pays to do your research on the many things being offered today if you still need help during the pandemic.
Here is something else that is being offered according to fox47news.com. The city of Eaton Rapids is helping homeowners with financial assistance with home improvements. They are working with the Curb Side Residential Grant Program.
They are excited about helping the residents of Eaton Rapids and their local government. said city Quality of Life Director Lindsey Zeller. "It provides a way for all of us to work together in making Eaton Rapids a visually vibrant community. The grants support projects that address any type safety hazard, such as a front porch, steps or roof that is in need of repair.
So here is how it will work, the grant has three tiers of funding based on different projects. One tier is worth $750, the next is $1,000. There are also top tiers for things like safety hazards and homes that need a lot of work. . They also offer up to a 50 percent match not to exceed $2,500. If your thinking you have a $5,000 project and you're awarded this grant, they will reimburse you up to $2500 for the remodeling.
You have until June 1st to apply for the grant, you also must live within city limits, own the home, and it must be your primary place of residence.
