Paczki Day, or Fat Tuesday, is right around the corner. While many bakeries and grocery stores serve up jelly-filled donuts, not everyone makes Paczki, and there's a big difference between the two!

Catholics celebrate Fat Tuesday as a kind of 'last hurrah' before the 40-day period known as Lent begins. During Lent, many Catholics fast and abstain from certain foods or behaviors, many 'giving up sweets'.

A delicious paczki is how many want to celebrate this annual holiday.
Of course, you've got the traditional filling of prune for all those purists. However, there are so many flavors and combinations out there, there's certainly something for everyone.
