Okemos’ Madison Hubbell in position for Olympic medal tonight
All three of the Michigan ice dancing teams are within striking distance of medals when they skate in the finals, tonight, at the Winter Olympics.
In third place after last night's short program are Madison Hubbell from Okemos and Zachary Donohue. Right behind them are the Shibutani siblings from Ann Arbor. In seventh place are Madison Chock (Novi) and Evan Bates (Ann Arbor)
Except for Donahue, the skaters basically grew up with each other, according to the Detroit Free Press, training with each other and even staying at each other's homes. Some even ended up dating.
According to MLive.com, the ice dancing finals tonight will be at 8PM.
Wow. Watch the ice dancing finals tonight or The Bachelor. It's a tough choice, but I think (most of) Michigan will do the right thing.
