New Taco Restaurant Opens Today In Old Town Lansing
The wait is over!
According to the Lansing State Journal, new taco and tamale restaurant, Punk Taco, is now open in Old Town Lansing! Originally, Punk Taco was supposed to open near Frandor, but plans changed and now you can find Punk Taco in Old Town right next to one its "sister" restaurants, The Creole Burger Bar & Southern Kitchen.
Punk Taco isn't your average taco joint; Tacos and tamales will change every season to coincide with what's in season and fresh, and the flavor combinations are pretty wild! Right now, Punk Taco is serving up green curry chicken and edamame tamales. Some of the taco choices (for now) include blackened salmon, tequila chorizo, chopped brisket, and Thai spiced beets. Punk Taco also features home made tortillas, an array of home made salsas ranging in heat, and margaritas in color changing cups that you can keep!
Punk Taco is the latest addition to the Potent Potables Project, which seeks to offer "a spectacular dining experience" through "chef driven cuisine" and includes places like Zoobie's Tavern, The Cosmos, The Creole Burger Bar & Southern Kitchen, and The Dolson.
