Full disclosure, there are two very popular counties that did not make this list. I thought for sure Genesee County and Lapeer County would make the cut - I was wrong. Lapeer County came in at #23, while Genesee County came in at #49. You can see a complete list of every Michigan county ranking below. The list includes population, median income, and median home price.

So who or what was used to determine which counites are the best to live in Michigan? According to Home Snacks, data from the latest census was used.

We may not all agree, but truth be told - if we have not visited or lived in the counties that made the list, who are we to judge? As a lifelong Michigander, I have not been to most of the counties that made the list. It may be time to broaden my horizons.
