More Crazy Stories From the Michigan DNR’s 2018 Files
Oh, 2018. You were crazy.
Last year saw another bumper crop of people thinking they could get away with violations of Michigan's state hunting and fishing laws.
Violations like deer bait piles that could be seen from space.
A fishing party with almost 8 TIMES the limit on smelt.
And then, there's this. According to MLive.com, during this year's deer season, a guy in Mt. Pleasant (with no tags), shot a deer, with a bow, in a residential area, at "about 2:30 a.m., using the glow from the nearby street light". While standing in his front yard.
Well, yeah - it's much easier that way.
