Maybe all the NASCAR races need to be this short. Yesterday, in the Busch Clash at Daytona - the first actual racing of the 2020 NASCAR season, Michigan's own Erik Jones defeated Austin Dillon with a car that looked like it had just been entered in the County Fair demolition derby.

According to MLive.com, only six cars were running on the last lap, with only five of those on the lead lap. It took three attempts at a green-white-checker finish, so the race took 88 laps.

Erik qualified 10th for the 500, but maybe he can move up during the "Bluegreen Vacation Duels", Thursday night on FS1. Green flag for the first one is 7 p.m. The Daytona 500 is next Sunday at 2:30, on Fox.
