Ken Burns on Country Music
Ken Burns' documentaries have been nominated for 2 Academy Awards and he has won an Emmy, plus other honors. His multi-part documentaries have delved into subject such as "Jazz", "Baseball", "National Parks", "Prohibition", "The Civil War"...and now, COUNTRY MUSIC! According to the Associated Press, Burns will attempt to answer the question "What is Country Music" and will trace the careers of some notable country artists. The documentary series is tentatively set to broadcast in 2018.
