Summer's over and fall is right around the corner. And that means - that's right - another "Somewhere In Time Weekend" at the Grand Hotel. According to MLive.com, this year's "Somewhere In Time Weekend" will take place October 25th through the 27th. Here are the details.

(FYI - All residents of Michigan are required to see the movie and make the pilgrimage to Mackinac Island and the Grand Hotel at least once. You don't HAVE to go to the weekend celebration, but you do have to see the Jane Seymour/Elise McKenna portrait in the Grand Hotel lobby and then stand on the porch and say, "Wow, this is the longest porch I've ever seen", or something to that effect)

The big news announced this week is, Jane Seymour, who played Elise McKenna opposite of Christopher Reeves in the movie, will be attending this year's festivities. She's been there before, but doesn't make it every year. According to the article, guests will screen the movie (like they haven't seen it four thousand times) talk about the movie and meet members of the cast and crew. And, once again, guests there for this event, "can bring their floor-sweeping dresses and period-looking suits so they can appear in costume at the cocktail receptions, a costume promenade and the Grand Luncheon Buffet"

So, it's basically a classier form of "Comic-Con".
