Pepsi Kills Off One Of Its Popular Brands In Michigan
First, Sierra Mist! Now this!
If you love a good energy drink soda, you may be heartbroken after this announcement.
Fans of one of Pepsi's most popular brands in Michigan may been having a sad start to the new year.
Pepsi Kills Off One Of Its Popular Brands In Michigan
In 2023, Pepsi quietly threw away Sierra Mist and replaced it with Starry.
Sierra Mist was my (unintentional) replacement when Sprite was not available.
Coca-Cola explained that getting rid of these drinks will allow them to focus more on others.
Did you know Ice Spice will be in the Starry Super Bowl commercial?
Besides Sierra Mist, PepsiCo is still cleaning house this year in 2024.
What soda did they discontinue?
Pepsi Discontinued Popular Mountain Dew Line
If you are a Mountain Dew fan, I am truly sorry for you.
PepsiCo has officially killed the MTN Dew Energy line.
"After careful consideration, we will be discontinuing MTN Dew Energy. We are incredibly grateful for your support. Fear not, Rockstar has your back for your energy needs. Find your flavor today."
Yikes!
Personally, energy drinks are not my speed, especially ones that have been circulating the internet.
With stories about deaths because of the Panera Energy Lemonade, I tend to stay away.
However, I understand that many customers are hurt by their favorite energy drink being discontinued with essentially no warning.
MTN Dew Energy has 55 milligrams of caffeine in the 12-ounce can. This is not as bad as Rockstar Energy, which has 160 mg of caffeine in the 16-ounce can.
How do you feel about the MTN Dew Energy discontinuing?
