Located in Ypsilanti, Michigan, Rolling Hills County Park is open year-round.

Michigan isn't really known for its awesome water parks. Don't get me wrong, we have lots of water parks but only a handful that are really worth checking out. This just might be one of those water parks.

No, the pool isn't open year-round (obviously). They usually have the water park open from Memorial Day through Labor Day weekend. Their water park hours are from 12 pm to 7 pm daily.

What Kinds of Attractions Are in the Water Park?

The water park has a giant wave pool, water slides, and a lazy river.

According to the Washtenaw Park & Recs website,  the Activity Pool is popular with younger children due to its zero-depth entry, gentle bubbler, geysers, waterfall, and a kiddie slide for children under 45" tall.

You can also chill and relax in their chaise lounges and sand chairs on an extensive sun deck located throughout the water park.

The photo below shows just how beautiful this 400-acre park is. I would love to do some hiking here in the fall, so cool.

You're probably asking, why are they open year-round? I couldn't find a lot of info on it but it looks like they have a big hill for tubing and sledding in the winter. Of course, in the spring and fall, you can go hiking or play disc golf.
