Michigan Is Home To The World’s Top Dog Influencer
A Michigan dog is officially the most influential dog on social media.
According to Show Sight Magazine, this four-legged friend can earn over $20,000 for one Instagram post and roughly $18,000 for a TikTok video.
Who is the most influential dog on social media?
That would be Tucker Budzyn. In 2023 the New York Post reported that Tucker, a Golden Retriever, made 1 million dollars a year.
Tucker and his son Todd are quite the internet sensation. Fans can follow Tucker on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
Understandably, the exact location of Tucker is not public information. But we can confirm he does live in the Great Lakes State.
If I had a dog making that much money, I would also keep his location a secret. Tucker's owners benefit from his work, but they are the people responsible for creating and sharing the content - and that's a full-time job if Tucker (or his owners) want him to stay relevant.
Hey, being a social media influencer is tough. If Tucker doesn't keep up with content, there are plenty of other dog influencers ready to take his place.
It's dog-eat-dog out there.
Who does Tucker belong to?
Tucker's parents are Mike and Courtney Budzyn. The couple got Tucker in June of 2018 when he was 8 weeks old.
Courtney made Tucker an Instagram page the day they brought him home. Within one month, a video she posted had gone viral. You can see the video here.
The Budzyns both quit their jobs and manage Tucker full-time. I'll say, this dog is a cash cow.
