University of Michigan Coach Jim Harbaugh Helps Ann Arbor Police Officer Move Fallen Tree

With all of the repercussions from this ice storm that took over Michigan, there was bound to be some fallout.

There was electricity lost and trees blocking roads.

What if that help turned out to be from a local celebrity?

Let me tell you what happened in this REAL story!

This all happened to an Ann Arbor police officer named Howard Cooper.

Around 8:00 PM, Officer Howard Cooper was trying to clear a large tree from blocking the intersection at Devonshire and Londonderry.

When, Lord and Behold, a van pulls up with a good Samaritan in the driver's seat, who was willing to help out.

That good Samaritan turned out to be, no other than, University of Michigan coach, Jim Harbaugh!

You know Jim Harbaugh, who, according to Wikipedia,

"For his NFL career, Harbaugh played in 177 league games with 140 starts. He completed 2,305 of 3,918 passes for 26,288 with 129 touchdowns."

Officer Cooper's bodycam footage, which he later shared on Twitter, shows the entire interaction play-by-play. After Harbaugh asks for Officer Cooper's name, you can hear Officer Cooper say:

"Thank you, sir. You're a good man."

Harbaugh responded by saying,

"Feel free to spread the word on that. Don't feel like you have to keep that to yourself."

So if you did not know, University of Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh is a good Samaritan.

But I feel as though, we knew that already.
