"Home Alone" movie fan theory - Kevin is a ghost. Discuss.

Here it is. That lost week between Christmas and New Year's Day. You might be at work, but are you really working? This might be a good time to catch up on your movie "fan theories". Today's fan theory: Kevin, the resourceful 8-year old played by Macaulay Culkin in Home Alone, is actually a mischievous ghost. For fans of the movie, this theory, from Erin Gloria Ryan and TheDailyBeast, would explain a lot, including why nobody except for his mother is truly upset about forgetting Kevin, while they go to Paris, why Kevin doesn't tell an adult about his predicament and why the house is in pristine condition when the family returns. And those burglars, played by Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern? Also ghosts.
