For three years, Hans Nilsson has been trying to get a photo of one of Sweden's 100 white moose (they call them elk). Two weeks ago he scored. According to Smithsonian.com, Hans got video of one of the pure white bull moose wading through a creek. Pretty spectacular stuff, especially since it's a large bull with it's antlers in velvet.

These white moose are not albinos but rather a form of piebald coloring.

BTW  - "Swedish White Moose" is the new name for my German, techno-music band.
