It goes without saying, but yet I will.

COVID-19 has had little affect on some peoples lives, if they're lucky. For other people it has either cost them their lives, or affected their lives from everything like losing a loved one to changing their job and financial situations. And I'm sure there have been even other affects on people that don't even come to mind right now.

I know people who have lost their lives to COVID-19 and I know others who have lost loved ones to COVID-19 and others whose professional lives and finances have been dramatically changed.

What is also sad is that there are many people who have joined others who have been unable to feed themselves and their families.

However, the Greater Lansing Food Bank has not only been continuing to do a terrific job feeding the hungry, but they also continue to bring the food to the hungry with their Mobile Food Distributions.

Here is where the Greater Lansing Food Bank's Mobile Food Distribution will be making stops in our area this week according to their Facebook page:

This Thursday from 3:30 until 6 p.m. at Community Baptist Church in Grand Ledge.

This Saturday from 8 a.m. until Noon at Olivet Baptist Church in Holt.

And also according to their Facebook page:

If you or someone you know is in need of food assistance, call the GLFB warehouse at (517) 908-3680 OR 2-1-1 to find your nearest emergency food resources.

You can get more information about the Food stops above and stay informed as to what is happening anytime with the Greater Lansing Food Bank and where they are going to be by checking out their Facebook page.
