This one hurts.
If you've ever had the BBQ at Gravity Smokehouse in Holt, you already know why seeing pictures of the place on fire overnight is tough to look at.

I loved that place.

Everyone Inside Gravity Smokehouse Got Out Safely
The good news — and this is by far the most important part — is that everyone inside was able to get out before firefighters arrived. No injuries were reported, according to our news partners at News 10 Lansing.
What Caused the Gravity Smokehouse Fire?
As of early Thursday morning, officials hadn't announced what caused the fire or exactly how extensive the damage is.

Why Gravity Smokehouse Means Something to Holt
Gravity Smokehouse isn't just another chain restaurant where you can drive ten minutes down the road and find another one. It's one of those local places that give Holt some personality.
I've eaten there plenty of times, and I've always loved it. Great barbecue, great atmosphere, and the kind of place you're happy to recommend when somebody asks where they should grab a bite around Holt.

Obviously, we'll have to wait and see what comes next and how much damage was done.
