Multiple flavors and brands are included in the recall, which includes stores in Michigan and many other states.

What Products and Stores Are Affected by the Frozen Waffle Recall?

Brand names including Clover Valley, Good & Gather, Great Value, and Simple Truth - all of which are sold in Michigan - and many others are included in the recall.

Wal-Mart, Target, Kroger and Dollar General are among the stores where brands affected by this frozen waffle recall are sold. Flavors being recalled include homestyle, buttermilk, blueberry, chocolate chip, cinnamon, and pumpkin among others.

If you find that you have frozen waffles affected by this recall in your freezer, you should either return the unused portion to the store where they were purchased for a full refund, or simply throw them away.

Dangers of Listeria

According to the Mayo Clinic, listeria infection "is a foodborne bacterial illness that can be very serious for pregnant women, people older than 65 and people with weakened immune systems." It rarely is dangerous for otherwise healthy, able-bodied individuals.
