According to Fox 47, the war between fast food restaurants that serve breakfast has been escalating here of late and this time McDonald's is taking their shot at getting more people to choose them for the most important meal of the day by not only creating a "National Holiday" but also by giving away free Egg McMuffins on Monday.

All you have to do to get your free Egg McMuffin at participating McDonald's locations nationwide is download their mobile app. You can claim and enjoy your free Egg McMuffin on Monday between the hours of 6 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.
