Free Chili During Downtown East Lansing’s Chili Cook-off This Weekend!

This is not a joke. I repeat, not a joke: There will be free chili this weekend during East Lansing's Downtown Chili Cook-off!

The State News reports that the Downtown Chili Cook-off takes place this Saturday, April 1st (again, not joking) from noon to 4 pm. All you need  to bring with you is your appetite, because this is a FREE event.

During the event, just walk into any participating restaurant and try a sample! After sampling, you'll be able to cast your vote for your favorite. The winner gets the 2017 Golden Spoon Trophy for East Lansing's best chili! Participating restaurants (from East to West) include:

• Buffalo Wild Wings
• The Riv
• Lou & Harry's
• HopCat East Lansing
• Harper's Restaurant & Brewpub
• Beggar's Banquet
