Looks like Redskins QB Robert Griffin III is out for possibly 4-5 weeks, after dislocating his ankle Sunday vs Jacksonville. Former Michigan State QB Kirk Cousins came in and played well as the Redskins beat the Jaguars 41-10. So now, Kirk has a chance to show what he can do. And according to this article, his head coach may be just fine with that.

In Cleveland, the Browns finally won their first home opener in 10 years, with former MSU QB Brian Hoyer leading them, for all but a few plays. They had to let Johnny Manziel on the field for a three plays just to justify the millions they're paying him. Understandably, Brian was mad, but took it like a pro.

And finally, Drew Stanton got his first start, since 2010, as the Arizona Cardinals beat the N.Y. Giants 25-14. Drew got the start because Carson Palmer had a sore shoulder due to a nerve injury.

Don't know how long Palmer will be out, but right now, MSU has three starting QBs in the NFL. And none of them are in legal trouble.
