I know we're at that time of the year where Michiganders are desperately clinging to the last bits of summer, but let's face it, there are already signs of fall.

All over Lansing you'll see little signs... some of the trees are already starting to change a bit, cider mills are starting to book autumn events, and I was even thinking about breaking the hoodies and sweaters out of storage the other day.

I'm not talking about a full autumnal burst of color, but it's been cool enough a few evenings that some trees have that random yellow-orangish hue to them. I saw some at Fenner Nature Center just the other day.
