Best Places to See Fall Foliage in Michigan

Now's the time to makes some plans to travel to the top of the Lower Peninsula, just south of Petoskey, and head to Boyne Mountain.

Boyne Mountain is home to SkyBridge Michigan, which is the world's longest timber-towered suspension bridge.

The SkyBridge is 1,200 feet long and 118 feet high, and you can walk along it to overlook Boyne Valley.

Walking along it, you're literally walking among the tree tops, getting up close and personal with the stunning fall foliage.

With this blast of cold weather that Michigan's had lately, the colors have quickly approached peak, and this weekend (Oct. 18 - 20) will offers the best views of the fall colors from the SkyBridge.
