Fata morgana is a mirage seen when light, water and air temperature all align to allow distant objects to be magnified and seem to be much closer than they really are. According to MLive.com, that's what happened last Wednesday, when photographer Jeri Raycraft was able to photograph the skyline of Chicago from the beach near St. Joseph in Michigan - 50 miles away.

This isn't the first time this has happened. It's not even the first time we've told you about this phenomena. We were all over this last May.
