Did You See Banana Don & Stephanie McCoy on WILX Last Night?
Hopefully you were watching the 5:30 'Good News' special newscast on WILX News 10 on Thursday, April 23rd. If you did, you may have seem some familiar faces because Banana Don and Stephanie McCoy were on the special explaining how you can nominate a local hero as WITL and MSU Health Care are teaming up to recognize people who are going above and beyond right now. WITL will be collecting nominations of local heroes from now until May 9th. Starting April 27th, we will randomly select fifteen heroes (one every weekday for three weeks) and give each of them a $50 Visa Gift Card.
To nominate someone, please use the audio submission feature of our free station app and send us a short audio message. Please be sure to include:
- Your name
- Where you live
- The name of the person you are nominating
- Where they live and what they do
- Why you are nominating them
Below you'll find a sample script.
