Detroit Tigers Await Outcome Of Victor Martinez Surgery This Afternoon
Today is the day that we will find out how long Victor Martinez will have to sit out this season for the Detroit Tigers. Martinez tore the medial meniscus in his left knee last month. According to the Detroit Free Press, Victor is scheduled to have surgery by renowned orthopedic surgeon Dr. James Andrews this morning in Pensacola, Florida. Depending on the results from the surgery, Martinez could miss four to twelve weeks with rehabilitation. You can read more about the prognosis by clicking here.
