You know who I feel sorry for? The poor 8th grader who has to line up this fall against Kiyaunta Goodwin during a football game. Kiyaunta Goodwin is an 8th grader in Louisville, Kentucky. He's 14 years old, 6 foot, 7 inches tall, weighs 370 pounds and already benches 315 pounds. And he's still growing. According to BleacherReport, major colleges like Ohio State and Michigan are already interested in him. Some have already offered him scholarships.

BUT, here's the quote from Kiyaunta that may kill all of the hype:

"Finding a robotics program is more important to me than finding a football team."

Kiyaunta's a smart kid. He's into art and music and chess.

His doctors predict that he may end up taller than 7 feet. And his trainers think he'll probably be able to bench 500 pounds by the end of high school.

But who knows if he'll really even want to play college football by then?

Now, just imagine the poor 8th grader who sits down across from Kiyaunta for a chess match.
