Who knew? Taking a cold shower has a lot of healthy benefits attached to it! According to an article on New Zealand's  stuff.co.nz, turning on the cold water, for at least some of your shower, can boost your mood, help you lose fat and strengthen your immune system. This article's author says it helped her recover from chronic fatigue syndrome.

This article from FastCompany.com, says to start out with warm water and gradually lower it over the next five minutes. And, of course, like both of these articles say, don't jump into any cold showers if you've got a heart condition.

And, if you don't have a shower, you might try wading into any of the Great Lakes up until about August.
