Lansing This Weekend: Easter Eggs, Hoppy Hours, Reptiles & More
Looks like a halfway decent early spring weekend to get out and about! Here are some of the things happening around Lansing for the weekend of March 30-April 2, 2023.
Hairball ROCKS! the Lansing Center
Hairball ROCKS! This nationally-touring group has been at it for more than two decades, and plays the Lansing Center this Friday night (3/31) beginning at 7pm. According to its website, "Hairball features dead-on recreations of KISS, AC/DC, Van Halen, Motley Crue, and many more! It’s like 20 concerts in one night."
Simply Love Spring Eggstravaganza
The Simply Love Spring Eggstravaganza takes places Saturday (4/1) from 1pm to 3pm at Lansing's Hawk Island County Park. This event is huge! More than 400 Easter baskets will be given away, and the egg hunt features more than 10,000 eggs!
Lansing Collectible, Toy, Comic & Record Show
The Lansing Collectible, Toy, Comic & Record Show takes place at the Okemos Events Center on Sunday (4/2) from 9am to 4pm. This free event promises "130 tables spread over two floors filled with vintage and newer toys, comics, posters and much, much more."
Lansing Reptile & Animal Extravaganza
The monthly Lansing Reptile & Animal Extravaganza is this Sunday (4/2) from 10am to 3pm at the Knights of Columbus building on North Grand River in Lansing. Looking for chameleons, hamsters, guinea pigs, spiders, snakes, sugar gliders, ferrets or any other non-dog/cat pets? Chances are you'll find them here.
Easter Egg-stravaganza
Sunday (4/2) at 1pm, Royal Scot in Lansing hosts its Easter Egg-stravaganza. The Easter Bunny is scheduled to make an appearance and be available for pictures. There'll be an Easter egg hunt, activity stations and more!
Easter Egg Hunt Hoppy Hour
This one's a little more adult-oriented. Enjoy Easter Egg Hunt Hoppy Hour at Lansing Brewing Company on Sunday (4/2) from 1pm to 3pm. How about an adult egg hunt with special LBC prizes? Yes, there'll still be an egg hunt for the kiddos too, as well as Easter basket drawings.
