I'd heard a story that there were some "mistake" quarters in circulation worth $200 - $300. Apparently, according to Snopes.com - it's true - and they might be worth more than that.

Next time you get some quarters, look for a 2004 Wisconsin state quarter. On the back is a cornstalk. The valuable coins have an "extra leaf" on the cornstalk. The theory is that this imperfection was put there by an employee of the Denver mint. Most of the coins ended up in the southwest U.S. - but coins do get around, so...
