Spring is less than 2 months away and there is still plenty of winter fun to be had in Michigan. Zehnder's Snowfest is going on now through Sunday, so why not take the whole family.
I was out there Wednesday for the all chocolate baking contest and I had such a good time. Enjoyed all the baked goodies and the huge donuts they have to offer. Delicious!
I was amazed watching the Ice and snow sculptures they were huge. There is plenty to see through Sunday. So much going on this weekend. So according to Zehnders.com folks can take the chill off at the festival warming tent that will feature live music from rock to the U.S. 338th Army Band and a Karaoke contest.
The 2022 Zehnder’s Snowfest, is through this Sunday the 30th. Larger-than-life snow sculptures and dazzling ice creations will fill the Bavarian-themed village of Frankenmuth, just 90 miles north of Detroit. Both amateur and professional snow and ice sculpting teams will compete for championship titles. There also will be pony rides, a petting zoo, face painting, and more for youngsters.
There was truly winter magic in the air when I was out there and everyone was walking around with a big smile.
This Will Be Fun
One of the highlights this Friday at 11:30 a.m is a chicken luncheon and live entertainment by Dueling Pianos. So much fun. Tickets are $50 per person. Call (989) 652-0450 to secure yours.
