One thing I wish I was better at in life is baking. I don't know why, but I'm absolutely awful at it. You know who isn't, Jeremy Davis of Charlotte, that's who!

Davis is one of seven people competing on Food Network's "Easter Basket Challenge" for a chance at $25,000. The show airs on Mondays at 10 p.m. ET, where all of the bakers have to put their creativity to the test by creating holiday masterpieces. One baker will be eliminated each week until a winner is crowned.

The Michigan State alum was born in Saginaw and currently lives in Charlotte. Davis graduated from Davenport University with a degree in Marketing before receiving his masters in Education from MSU.

If you're wondering if Davis gave up his day job to bake, he did not. By day, he is the Director of Business and Economics at Lansing Community College. By night, he's running Daddy Custom Cakery, making custom cakes!

This isn't Davis' first time competing on Food Network, last year he won their Girl Scout Cookie Championship! Davis says he's too competitive to pass up another chance to win.

One of the producers from the previous show reached out to me about this show. Being an extremely competitive person, I immediately said yes. The idea to be able to get out and compete again, I mean, anytime I can compete in any arena, I am game to do it.

Davis has advanced to the second episode of the "East Basket Challenge" and says his fellow competitors are all very talented.
