Bob Seger’s ’65 Mustang Owned By Local Couple

A couple in Charlotte (Michigan's Charlotte, not NASCAR's Charlotte) own, what they say is the first NEW car Bob Seger ever bought - a 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback. With less than 7,500 miles on it. According to the Lansing State Journal, soon, you'll be able to see the car and the couple, Dave and Kay Persell, on the Velocity Network show "AmeriCarna",hosted by NASCAR crew chief and car owner Ray Evernham. The show is tentatively scheduled to run early next year.

The Persells have a pretty sweet car collection, including a '69 Corvette and a '71 Hemi Dodge Challenger.

They do 15-20 car shows a year, so be on the lookout for them - the Seger Mustang.
