A Look At Lansing Lugnuts Opening Day And WITL Night

Yes it was a bit cold, but lots of faithful Lansing Lugnuts fans and Wittle Family members braved the less than ideal conditions and made it out to the old ballgame on Saturday afternoon to ring in another great baseball season!

We had a great time hosting Lugnuts play-by-play announcer Jesse Goldberg-Strassler and new General Manager Tyler Parsons on the air during our broadcast at the Opening Day Block Party and of course, it's always fun to be able to spend time with WITL listeners whenever we can.

Banana Don and Stephanie McCoy threw out the first pitches, and lead the crowd in the singing of "Take Me Out To The Ballgame" during the seventh inning stretch.

The best news? The Lugnuts bested the Great Lakes Loons in their Lansing home opener 6 - 4!
