Okemos Restaurant Owner Asks Robber To Responsibly Handle Gun That Was Stolen
An Okemos restaurant was broken into early Saturday morning and the owner is asking the perp to return a specific item that was taken in order to keep others safe.
Owner of 102 Pho & Bahn Mi - Vietnamese Noodle Soup and Sandwiches, Bruce Le, told WILX that his security camera caught the incident on tape and that it occurred around 3 a.m. on Saturday.

Items stolen from the restaurant
Le says that money wasn't the only thing that was stolen from his restaurant, a safe, important documents, and personal belongings were also taken. But, his main concern is the gun that was stored in the safe.
Le told WILX that he keeps a biometric safe in his office and stores his gun in it for protection. However, because the perp was unable to open the safe, they took the entire thing.

Owner asks for perp to return firearm
He wrote on the restaurant's Facebook page that he hopes the person makes good use of the money and personal belongings but asks that the individual return or properly get rid of the firearm.
All I ask that you do not cause harm to others with my firearm. It has been reported to authority and if you’re caught, it’s a felony and you’re likely to be arrested. I beg that you return the firearm to me in some way, or discard it properly.
