World’s Largest Video Game Collection Is For Sale
A collection of more than 11 thousand video games -- certified by the Guinness Book as the largest in the world -- is hitting the auction block. The collection belongs to Michael Thomasson from Buffalo, N.Y., and reportedly contains 21 consoles from makers like Sega and Nintendo and rare examples that were never sold in the United States. The auction is being hosted by Game Gavel. Thomasson estimates the collection is worth at least $800,000. The highest bid as of Tuesday morning was $101,001.00.
