Wind Advisory Continues

Have you been listening to the wind blowing since early this morning? You're probably not alone. It seem like the old saying is true, "March comes in like a lion...".

The National Weather Service in Grand Rapids issued a Wind Advisory early this morning and it will continue until 8 o'cock tonight.

Here is a look at the alert from the National Weather Service:

...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

HAZARDOUS WEATHER...

* Wind gusts around 45 mph will be likely through the afternoon, and then gradually diminish this evening

IMPACTS...

* Some tree limbs may come down

* A few power outages likely

* Loose objects will be blown around

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

* Winds this strong can make driving difficult...especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.

Let's hope that the rest of the old saying is true..."and goes out like a lamb"...
