When’s The Last Time You Saw Gas Under $2 In The Lansing Area?

What we got here is a good old fashioned Gas War! According to WLNS-TV, a war like this broke out in Eaton Rapids earlier today.

You may be able to remember the days when gas stations used to compete with each other by dropping their prices to entice consumers to come and fill up at their station because they had the best deal on fuel.

These wars would go on and on and it was usually between gas stations that were very close to each other, and they'd hang different signs up to advertise their lower prices and to taunt and kid each other.

Of course, this was all happening in the '70's when gas was around...wait for it...36 cents a gallon!
